Day 1: Delhi, India

TAJ MAHAL – New Delhi / THE OBEROI – New Delhi ( D )
Day 2: Delhi
Delhi – Capital of modern India. Many dynasties and rulers have flourished on its regal soil over the last 3000 years. The legacy still survives in many monuments varying from the 13th century mausoleum of the Lodi Kings to the buildings of British India’s imperial past like the Parliament House and the Presidential Estate.
After breakfast, begin your day in Delhi a visit the Humayun’s Tomb , this tomb was built thanks to the initiative of his widow Hamida Banu Begum, who commenced the construction of a mausoleum for her deceased husband in 1565, nine years after his death. The construction was finished in 1572. The architecture of the tomb is strongly influenced by Persian architecture. The architect of the building Mirak Mirza Ghiyas himself was of Persian origin.
Later explore Colonial Delhi as you drive past the India Gate, a monument commemorating the deaths of over 70,000 Indian soldiers in the British Forces during the World War I, and older British buildings that house today’s parliament and secretariat. The majestic Bangla Sahib Gurudwara features an eye-catching golden dome glistening in the sun. This is a holy place for Sikhs across the world and the Gurudwara grounds include a community temple, a community kitchen, a school, a library and an art gallery.
Later tour of old Delhi Jama Mosque, the largest mosque in India, built in 1650 AD. This is followed by a drive past the Red Fort (Closed on Mondays) (1639-48), built by Emperor Shah Jahan, creator of The Taj Mahal. Later proceed to Raj Ghat – the site of the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Also enjoy Rickshaw ride in old delhi . Evening return back to your hotel .
TAJ MAHAL – New Delhi / THE OBEROI – New Delhi ( B , L , D )
Day 3 : New Delhi / Agra
After leisurely breakfast, you begin your drive to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra check into your hotel. Which located just 600 meters from the world famous Taj Mahal, offering brilliant views of the monument from the lobby, pool, spa, restaurants and every room in the hotel. Elaborate gardens, terraced lawns, fountains and pavilions complement the classic architecture of the hotel.
Agra served as capital for the Mughal Empire during the 16th and 17th centuries and flourished as a center of art, drawing inspiration from Persian, Islamic, Turkish, Byzantine and Indian styles. It has been immortalized ever since by the Taj Mahal – a magnificent marble mausoleum that today symbolizes love.
This evening, visit Mehtab Bagh Garden, which legend claims was to be site of a black Taj that the emperor Shah Jahan wished to build for himself, facing the monument he’d built for his love. Instead the Mehtab Bagh is four gardens, typical of Mughal constructions worldwide, with beautiful flowering plants, pools and fountains. Return to your hotel.
THE OBEROI AMARVILAS (B,L,D)
Day 4 : Agra / Jaipur
Wake up early to visit Taj Mahal in the subtle morning light while it is still relatively uncrowded. Taj Mahal is the magnificent mausoleum, which Emperor Shahjahan had built for his queen, Mumtaz. This is India’s own jewel in the list of Seven Wonders of the Modern World.
After visit return to hotel for breakfast before setting out on the five-hour drive to Jaipur. En route you stop at Abhaneri step wells, unique to India. Adjacent to the step well is a temple, which was also used for ritual bathing before worshiping. It is still active and devoted to the goddess Durga.
Later enjoy the lunch with special set up under canopies surrounded by beautiful farm. After lunch drive to Jaipur .
Jaipur , Erected during the 18th Century by the ruler of Amer as a ‘city of victory’, Jaipur was North India’s first planned city. Jaipur is often known as the ‘pink city,’ some say because of the distinctive rosy sandstone used in its construction, others claim it was painted pink to welcome the Prince of Wales. Either way, the city is a beautiful symphony of the history with the present.

TAJ RAMBAGH PALACE / OBEROI RAJVILAS – (B,L,D)
Day 5 : Jaipur
Morning, proceed for an excursion to Amer Fort, which is located 12 kms outside Jaipur. The original Palace was built by Raja Mansingh and later additions were made by Sawai Jai Singh. One of the finest example of Rajput architecture, it was the ancient capital of Kachhawah rulers. Visit the multiple chambers and hallways of the palace which are famous for their design and decorations. This unique capital of the erstwhile warrior kings of Rajasthan is a must on every tourist itinerary to the state.
Then, drive to Dera Amer, a retreat for elephants on the outskirts of the city with full of wilderness and natural beauty. Operating with an eco-sensitive mind set, with organic farming practices, implementation of solar paneled water pumps, drip irrigation, engaging and empowering the local communities, and adopting elephants and camels that were rescued from a life of hard labor. In the afternoon, explore the old city markets through our unique Pinkcity Heritage walk ,where a smorgasbord of delights and crafts await! The narrow streets have long been the bustling economic arteries of the city, trading in everything from local handicrafts like the blue pottery and silver jewelry to exotic, imported goods. You also have the option to meet with an astrologer. Later return back to your hotel.

Day 6: Jaipur City Sightseeing / New Delhi / Depart
After breakfast, Check out & proceed for city tour accompanied by your guide. A visit to the unique Jantar Mantar, which is a magnificent stone observatory built by Raja Jai Singh in 1728 and drive past the Hawa Mahal, an intriguing “ Palace of Winds”. This was really a facade built in 1799, to allow royal ladies to view the city from the windows. Later visit the opulent City Palace, the former royal residence built in a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal style which has grand museums displaying an excellent collection of miniature paintings, costumes and armory.
Afternoon enjoy Lunch at Samode Haveli ,An urban oasis in the historic walled city of Jaipur. After lunch you will be transferred to Delhi International Airport to board your flight for onward destination.
